The physical card is part of MoonCold's confirmation flow. A user still needs to check every destination, network, amount, and request shown in the app.
Key and chip details
The full specification will describe key creation and storage, chip model, authentication, and cryptographic protocol. No independent audit or certification is claimed here.
Recovery
Follow the official backup and recovery flow included with your specific MoonCold set. Do not assume another wallet's recovery process applies.
Threats still matter
Phishing, malicious addresses, compromised phones, lost backup material, and wrong-network transfers can cause loss even when a hardware card is used.
Never share a private key or recovery phrase with support or enter it into a website. MoonCold does not promise that physical NFC contact alone makes theft impossible.
